Ever since my mom got a Broom Vac for Christmas, I have been coveting one. I thought, "Gee, that would be the end to my hatred of sweeping, and it will be soooo much easier. I totally need one!!" I actually don't hate sweeping, I just hate the dust pan part. Anyway, this product is always SOLD OUT at all the stores, so it wasn't until just yesterday that I happened to see 2 of them at some random Walmart I was at. I thought, "Wow, this must be my lucky day!" Oh, and they come in like 12 colors, just another way to lure you in. So I picked the Silver one over the Purple one, and used my birthday money to get this Awesome Broom Vac that I have been looking everywhere for! I was thouroughly thrilled, really I was. It is insane how happy I was that found one. First thing I do when I get home is put together my new cleaning device and try it out. Here are the thoughts that went through my head:1. "Wow, this is kinda heavy."
2. "Hmmm, it isn't easy to maneuver under the cabinets."
3. "It doesn't have enough suction to it."
4. " THIS IS THE SAME THING AS THE SWIFFER VAC!!! AND I ALREADY HAVE ONE OF THOSE!!"
Needless to say, this raved about Broom Vac has somewhat disappointed me. Actually, it isn't the Broom Vac's fault. It is mine. I always get caught up in the hyped up products and I always regret it. I am kind of on the fence about it, I DO WANT to love it like everyone else, but I am not really at that point yet. I am not saying that you shouldn't go buy it. It does suck things up better than the Swiffer Vac. I guess with all the hype about it I was just expecting Mr. Dirt Devil himself to jump out of my pantry like in the commercials and sing a theme song or something whilst I discovered it's magic and wonder.... but no.
Does anyone else have one of these?? Any opinions?

I don't have one of those, but my mother-in-law gave us a swivel sweeper for Christmas & I love it. It works really well, & it's really light.
I say if you don't like it at 1st return it since it is already like what you have and spend the $ on something else.

I've never heard of such a thing, it looks straight out of the Jetson's. Does your mom love hers? I'd stick with the old fashioned broom. That's just one more contraption to maintain, service, buy parts for, etc.
So sorry, that sucks! You know what I say....take it back and spend your money on a lady to do the sweeping for you. That's what I'm saving up for.
I've never even heard of it before. I have a "Hoover Floor Mate." It vacuums and mops, so I'm in love with it. I would suggest one of those if you ever get rid of your carpet.
