Hilarious Conversation

ZOE: (Holding up an empty box of gum) "Austin, you have GOT to smell this ok?'

AUSTIN: (sounding VERY doubtful and very matter-of-fact) "Ok, but if it stinks then I am going to hang all your underwear up on the flagpole."

wait for it... wait for it....
ZOE: (sounding very concerned) " But I dont HAVE a flagpole."

Zoe's 4th Birthday Party!!!

Zoe had her official party on Saturday at Espee park. Lots of friends and family came! Thank you! They played in the water, swung at a pinata, and instead of cake we went with Bahama Bucks Shaved Ice... YUMMMMMMMMMMM!!! Zoe picked the flavors Pink Bubblegum, Watermelon, and Toasted Coconut. Thank you Cassie for taking the pictures so that I could do other things!!She got so many wonderful gifts! Thank you everyone!

Then we stuck a candle in her shaved ice and sang happy birthday! It was a fun day!

Zoe is in Pre-K

She started pre-school at a new place on August 17th! She LOVES it. They are learning so much more than she ever did in Apples to Zebras. She LOVES going to school! And her teacher, Mrs. Christina, is the NICEST person I have ever met. She is so silly and sweet with all the kids.

Zoe's Bday Disney Trip

Since Disneyland is letting people in for free on their birthdays, we decided the kids should get to go on those days. And since we already have annual passes so we get in free anyways, Disneyland gives a gift card with the amount of a days worth on it! So when we took Zoe a couple weeks ago she got a gift card with $62 on it to spend however she wanted! Ok but here is what we did.....

On our first night we took Zoe to Build-A-Bear in Downtown Disney because she has been begging us to take her there on her birthday (and because we had a coupon to use!!). She got to go up in the front with everyone else who was celebrating a birthday and the whole store sang Happy Birthday to her! She picked out a pink horsey and put a fairy costume on her.. and guess what she named her?? Ariel, of course.
When we woke up the next morning, it was officially her bday so she got to open her one present. It was exactly what she asked for... and Ariel costume! Guess which princess she was that day at Disneyland?? The first thing she wanted to do was get her face painted. So she did and the best part is Disneyland paid for it!

EVERYONE was looking and "ooh-ing" and "awe-ing" over Zoe and her little costume. She even said, "Mom, everyone is staring at me like this... that is so crazy.... and its so embarassing!" But she soon got over the embarrasing factor because she told Travis that she "..did not want to be carried because then people can't see me!" She would strut around and bat her eyelashes whenever someone was looking at her. AND when we went to the restroom she would stare at herself in the mirror and say "Oh my gosh, I look AMAZING! I am so pretty!" It was the FUNNIEST thing you ever saw. Here she is being a total poser for the camera. I did not tell her to do this, she did it completely on her own.

A birthday is not complete without a birthday cake..........

Some more random pictures of the day....

She got soaked on the Grizzly River Run

The one thing that Zoe knew for sure she wanted to buy with her money was a Princess sucker!

Downtown Disney has THE BEST new store!! It is called Disney 365 Studio- I AM IN LOVE WITH IT. And so is Zoe. They had some of the ACTUAL outfits that were worn by the Jonas Brothers on our fave show Jonas on the wall, and Zoe ran up to her boyfriend "Nicky" 's outfit for a picture. That's what she calls him. Nicky.

Zoe with all her shopping bags!

Zoe is obviously very excited for this ride to open!

Starting to get tired....

She fell asleep around 7:00 that day! But then woke up when the Electric Parade started.

The next day she was Princess Jasmine.....

It was a totally fun trip. Happy Birthday Zoe!
