Kodak Moment

Here are the pictures I took where the kids were actually cooperating with me! I think they turned out pretty good! But just look at these faces! When they aren't sticking their tongue out at me and screaming at eachother, I REALLY think that I could actually eat their cute little cheeks like big red apples. I know, a little dramatic, but don't you know me by now? Now, tell me, in case I want to use these for christmas cards, which is your fave??

Thanks Reesa, this is Hilarious!!

Say Cheese!

So yesterday I did the unthinkable, and ATTEMPTED to take the kids christmas pictures by myself, while Travis was at work! I got them all ready and looking nice, then the madness began. Here is the evidence that this should never be attempted without 2-3 adults present!! After all this, do you think that I got any good ones? You will have to wait and see.

Thanksgiving at the Dunes

This last weekend for Thanksgiving we went to the Sand Dunes with Travis's family. It was fun. And the kids had a BLAST!!! It was REALLY cold. We played lots of games and cards, and went on rides on the 4-wheelers. The kids became ADDICTED to hot chocolate, and to Grandma!

I don't know if you noticed Zoe crying her head off in the corner here, but don't worry. She was just suffering from Grandma withdrawls.

A to Z's Program

Last Friday Austin had a school program. It was so cute. They sing songs, and get awards. Here are some pics. He loves to be on stage!

The Merriest Place On Earth

We got back from Disneyland late Monday night, and it was SOOO fun. It was all decked out in Christmas stuff. Christmas carols on Main street, probably a 100 ft tree, snow fall at night, Santa, it was cool. Here are some pics! Beware, there are a ton...

They had a cool Christmas Parade, with Santa at the end. He looked right at Austin and asked " Have you made your christmas list yet?" Austin just nodded, then was had this look on his face like he is was in utter shock and amazement that Santa talked to him out of all the kids around him. It was so cute.

Oh, and look who we got to see shooting the Christmas special that will be airing on Christmas Day... Hannah Montana, or Miley Cyrus, or over priced and over rated teen sensation who is making way too much money. I asked Austin if he liked Hanna Montana, and he said "No, I don't want her to be my wife." Hmmm. Here are some pics of it Snowing at Disneyland! This was the fun part. Austin LOVED that it snowed, and Zoe got mad because the snow was getting all over her blanket. Oh, it was FREEZING there by the way. I love it in Cali!!

The castle in the day at Christmas time..... And at night. It was really fun. I have so many good pics, but you are probably sick of seeing them by now. Some highlights of the trip for Austin were that he went on the Tower of Terror, and LOVED IT!!!! That is his new favorite ride and went on it 5 times. Zoe loves the Matterhorn. She will now put her hands in the air the whole time and laugh her head off!! It is getting funner every time we go!! We love it there!!!

See ya's

So we are off to Disneyland again. They are putting up their christmas decorations tomorrow, Friday, so of course we have been summoned. We can't resist The Happiest Place on Earth at Christmas time. So, please try not to miss me too much, and don't do anything that I wouldn't do while I am gone. K??

Duh Mom

Austin: "Mom, I wish Cassie's baby could be your baby."
Mom: " Well, why don't I just make my own baby?"
Austin: "Ok, you can make your own baby then."
Mom: " But how do I make my own baby? How do I get it into my tummy?"
Austin: " You just have to go to the doctor and he will just cut your tummy open and put one in there. Then it will grow."

Some More Smores Please

My Grandma's neighbors, Vinny and Bob, are really awesome people. The other day, they gave us a practically brand new fire pit! So of course, we went home and roasted marshmallows and made smores!! Right on our back porch! We are very grateful to them for this. We are having so much fun with it! So everyone come over and we can make some more smores!! It is the perfect time of year for it!

Its Begining To Look A Lot Like Christmas!

I know this is kind of hard to see, but I just wanted to show you all that we are officially ready for Christmas. Our trees have been up for almost 2 weeks, and as of last weekend (thanks to Travis) our lights are up on the house. Yay!

Sweet Little Ball of Squish!

Here are some pics from the hospital of Cassie and her new baby, Deisel Kevin. He is such a cute little squishy baby! I like him!!He weighed 7.4 and was born at 12:45. So cute huh?

New baby

Just a quickie to tell you Cassie had her baby at like 12:45 today. I think he was 7 lbs 4 oz. I will post his pictures after I go and see him tonight. Oh, and his name is Diesal. Not sure if that is how they are spelling it or not. But he is here!

Travis's Answers for Amy's Quiz

Here are the answers that Travis thought would be accurate for me. Pretty funny!

You Got Me

So Kristal tagged me. I despise doing things like this because it is too much pressure. Anything that makes me list things that "are my fave" and stuff like that, I can't think of things on the spot like that so then I worry that they aren't right. FYI

In case any of you EVER want to, I don't know, babysit or something, you will need to have a book of translations to understand what Zoe is saying. Here is an example.

"Momma"- Obviously, Momma. Although lately we are on a first name basis, she calls me Mimi.

"Wa-wa"- You would think she is saying water, but that is where you are wrong. She is saying Mickey.

"Va-va"- You will have no idea what she is saying here. She is saying Grandma.

Do you see how it can be quite hard to understand this little person?? Those words all sound the same when she says them!! But please don't be shy, I know you all secretly want to watch my kids for me. I suppose that I could do some of you a favor and let you babysit for awhile. I know, I am a very generous person.

Another Tidbit

Here is yet one more random, yet, extremely funny/cute thing Austin said today.

We were driving home tonight, and obviously, it was dark outside. So out of the blue Austin says, "Mom, turn on the light because I want to see Zoe's face." So I turn it on. He looks at Zoe's face and VERY excitedly, he exclaims, "Wow! Now, I like that! That is so cute!"
It was like he was just now realizing that she is a cutie.

Yeah, Right!!

Your Celebrity Style Twin is Gwen Stefani
Trendsetting, unique, and stylish.
This is obviously not very accurate. I hardly even get dressed every day, let alone wear "trendsetting" things! Now you do it...

Construction Zone

In case you were all wondering, this blog is under construction. I see a Christmas Carol playlist, and a possible background change in its future. Keep checking back for the final product!!

Austin the Hero!!

Every year, one of my favorite stores, Country Manor, has a Christmas Open House. This is where they begin selling their christmas items, and they have this huge sale thing. What you do is you pick out all your crap, then you go to the counter and pick a jingle bell. Inside the bell there is a paper with a discount of anything from 10% all the way to 100%. So it is a gamble. They also have hot wassail, and cinnamon rolls, and cookies for all the guests. I LOVE going to this, and I go every year.
Well, since this year I have a new tree that is much bigger than my other one, I definetly needed to stock up on stuff for it while I was there. So this morning at 10 am sharp so as not to miss out on the good stuff, the kids, Cassie and I went to Country Manor. You will think I am crazy, but I got to the counter with $419 worth of stuff. I let Austin pick a bell, hoping it would be at least 20% off the bill, but it was 50% off!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I was so happy , and Austin felt special because he "picked an awesome bell" he kept saying with the HUGEST smile on his face. He really had no idea what picking the bell meant, but he could tell it was awesome by our reactions! It made my day!!! Thanks to Austin, I saved a good $200!!!!!!! Thanks Frosty Austy!

Carrie Underwood

So I think that Carrie Underwood is amazing. On the one hand, and I know Travis is agreeing with me right now WHOLE HEARTEDLY, she is absolutely beautiful. Flawless face. Looks just like a Barbie doll! She is probably the prettiest person in Hollywood. (BTW, she is Travis's "IF you were stuck on a deserted island, who is the one person you would you want with you" answer.) On second hand, she has the most AMAZING and, again, flawless voice I have ever heard. It is beautiful. I love to listen to her sing. I want her new CD!!

See the resemblence?

Retraction

I am issuing a minor retraction to a previous posting on this blog. At one point I shared with all of you my complete disgust with anything Raspberry flavored. I have found that this is not an entirely true statement. Upon a recent visit to my favorite desserts' home, Olive Garden, I discovered that Raspberry sauce is quite yummy with the Lemon Cream cake. So for those of you that value my thoughts and opinions so much that you decided that you would stop eating raspberry flavors in honor of me, I apologize for any inconvenience this false information has caused any of you. But be assured that this is the ONLY Raspberry item that will ever enter my mouth without a gag reflex following immediatly after. That is all.

Santa Remodels Too

Here is a story that made me laugh yesterday.

Austin and I went to get some paint yesterday at Lowes around 2:oo. While we were waiting for our paint to be done, this man came up next to us to get some too. He was a fat older man, really nice, and he had a greyish whitish beard. He talked to me and Austin the whole time we waited about Christmas and how they put 40,000 lights on their house. Anyway, we said our goodbyes and that was that. Then, on our way home at like 8:00, we were listening to christmas music, and Austin mentioned to Zoe that Santa watches us to see if we are being nice. He then said " I think that old man at the paint store was Santa." I laughed. This has probably been on his mind all day, and he hasn't said anything until now. " Maybe Santa is going to paint his North Pole, and the elves are going to help him!" I just nodded in agreement. Why would Santa go to a Lowes in Gilbert to buy paint for his North Pole? I just thought that was really funny.

News Flash

I just wanted to share a bit of news with all of you. The other day, we found out that we are expecting a new addition to the family in a couple months! It is kind of a surprise, yes, but we are happy and nervous all the same! We are hoping for a girl, and it would be really cool if she had brown hair! It will be fun to have another baby in.....Wait... what?? You guys thought I was saying I was pregnant? No, no, no , the dog that was supposed to be getting it on so that Santa could give the kids a "baby brown dog" for Christmas, is pregnant. Not me. Wow, you guys are SOOO gullable.
