Twilght Spoof

This made me laugh. Especially when he is telling Bella why she can't resist him! Watch it!

Lost Vegas

That is what I used to think it was called when I was little. Lost Vegas.

Anyway so we went with the Mulders to Las Vegas a coupla weekends ago, just like we do every year. And like every year it was totally fun! Even though my back hurt so bad that during the day while Jason and Kristal were in seminars, I stayed in my comfy bed in the hotel room. All day. Then we would go out at night. Oh and we stayed at Treasure Island, I have always wanted to stay there since I love pirates so much. Here was our view that I took at like 3 in the morning.

Here we are walking the strip. Look how hot Kristal looks.
One of the nights we went to the arcade at New York New York where I kicked this games trash... I can very frequently hit the jackpot which is 250 tickets. That's right. Now multiply that by 3.

And then I kicked this guys trash at basketball..... wait a tick, is that Travis?? Oh ya, that is!
We also saw a show called "Defending the Caveman" at the Excalibur. It was so hilarious. It is a comedy about the differences between men and women. This will give you a little taste.... can you read it? Now don't we look just like the people in this poster for the show??

On our last day we went to the Venetian for lunch, and they had "characters" walking around. This was a fancy little Italian lady who could belt it out like an opera singer.

Like always, it was a blast! Looking forward to next year you guys! Oh and thank you Kristal for lugging around your camera so that I didn't have to! I wouldn't have any pics from the trip if not for her.

Still, still, still

What would you say if I told you that a certain Gilbert mom still has her christmas decorations up in the house? And would it make it better if she told you that she really has NO motivation to pull like a 100 boxes out of the garage and start filling them up with said christmas decor? And would you feel the slightest inkling of sympathy if she were to tell you that she is walking around like an old lady so it isn't even in her best interest to be doing such strenuous work and heavy lifting? And do you realize that it takes like 4 days, sometimes a week, to even decorate the house in the first place and get all the boxes back into the garage, so we aren't just talking about a quick afternoon of packing here??

Does this suck or am I just being lazy? I think it is both. All I reallly want to do is just lay around all day and ice, ice, ice. Like an old lady. Cuz that is what I am now. Bring on the gray hair, give me some bi-focals, fetch me my mush, and sign me up for shuffleboard.

So I am sorry you guys but Christmas is just gonna have to stay up in our house until Travis is here to help me on the weekends. But it will have to be the weekend after this weekend, because we are going to safford saturday, and sunday we have church now from 12:30 to 3:30. You will just have to deal with it. As will I.

More Castro on Idol!!!

Is this actually possible?? Jason Castro's brother Michael is going to Hollywood on American Idol?? This would be an example of life's little miracles, people. You all remember my obsession with Jason Castro, yes?? Well, his bro auditioned for AI, and made it!!!!!! I am sooooo excited!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Aren't you?

Christmas at Disneyland

Finally, here are some pics from our trip to the big "D" with the John family. This was a really fun trip. BUT it was the most crowded I have ever seen it!!!

Here is Zoe at the Hotel. She was ready.

My kids got a Build A Bear gift card for christmas, so the first night we were there we went to the one at Downtown Disney.

And they LOVE them!

This is Zoe and Jaxon crying at the same time because Grandma is not within 3 feet of them.

The kids here waiting for Indiana Jones.

We all got to go to Goofy's Kitchen on Sunday, and they have the yummiest food!

Goofy was dancing with Zoe.

Most of us on the Grizzly River Run.

Santa was there on vacation.

This was our last night there, and Austin fell asleep at the table at Red Robin!

There are a ton more pics, but I just threw a few on here. Thanks so much Jace and Wendy ! We had a blast!

Christmas Day

Christmas Day went well. The kids woke up, we ate breakfast like always, then got to the presents. First thing we always do is open our stockings. This is my personal favorite part. I love that some of the smallest things that can fit into a stocking can turn out to be the best gifts ever! The kids get an ornament every year in their stockings, and some other goodies from either us or Santa. Austin is in LOVE with peanuts, so we got him his very own bag. Then we do Santa gifts. The kids were very pleased with Santa this year. He brought them exactly what they asked for! Here are some more pics from the days events.... Zoe got tons of princess dresses and more.... including her "purple baby" she asked for! She named her Cassie.

And Austin got a ton of transformers, and legos. He was very excited. And the last picture- notice the people on the guitar?? That's right folks. Camp Rock Guitar Hero. Oh ya!

Then that night after we did dinner and presents at my Mom and Dad's, the whole John family came over and thus began the trip to Disneyland! I will post about that tomorrow.

Christmas Eve

I'm back! I have been suffering from my yearly PCD. You know, post-christmas depression. It happens to the best of us I always say. I'm not saying I am totally over it, but I am slowly letting go of Christmas. Baby steps.

So Christmas this year was really good. Let us start with Christmas Eve. We woke up and went over to our friends house (The Bishop's) for a Christmas Eve Brunch. (Yes, we are that fancy.) A gift exchange followed all the yummy food and it was really fun. Here are the kids with their gifts from eachother...

These 2 characters are bestest friends.

So are these 2 crazies. Look at my hair... it is the same color as the light from the window. You can't even see half of it! I promise I have more hair than that.

Zoe is VERY focused here decorating her gingerbread cookie. See the look on her face?? THat is how you can tell.

Here we all are. Serious and funny.

Seriously, we are really funny.

Then back to the abode for some Christmas Eve dinner with the Campbell's. Here is the tree.

Diesel told me to tell you all that he said "Waz up my peeps?"

Here is my mom making the best stuffing in the world- Stovetop. Yum.

So we ate yummy Prime Rib dinner, then we told the Christmas story with the Nativity people, then we all opened up 1 gift. Austin picked the present that Zoe gave him, mostly because she had already told him a million times what they were... "tromers".

Diesel opened our gift to him. A Little Einsteins Laptop. He totally digs it.

Then like always, Santa's Elves bring us pajamas and leave them at our door every year! This year they brought Zoe princess jammies, robe and slippers, and Austin got Transformers robe, jammies and slippers. He got all excited when I told him that he looked like the boy from Polar Express. He quickly checked his pocket for a hole and excitedly said "My pocket doesn't have a hole in it!" And that stick you see in the picture is just Diesel wacking everyone with a wrapping paper stick.

Anyway, it was a good christmas eve. Sometime maybe I will get around to doing Christmas Day and Disneyland!
