Another funny

In the car I hear this......

(Austin) "I am the FASTEST lego builder in the world!!!"

(ZOE) " I'm a couch potato!!"

Already?

After dinner tonight Zoe was talking about how "dweamy" Lance Uptain is (he is a boy in our ward that she has a crush on. He is like 10 so she obviously likes the older men). Then she said "It makes me want to KISS him!" To which Austin said " well I already kissed MY girlfriend" Travis and I just looked at eachother because we figured we would have already heard this story but we hadnt! I asked him who it was, and it was obviously Brooke our neighbor. I got them on video the other day saying that they were in love and going to get married and live in California. Anyway, I asked Austin WHERE he kissed her, to which he said "Behind the big bush in our backyard" He says this very non-challantly by the way. Travis and I were laughing hysterically. A few weeks ago I trimmed that very bush down to NOTHING and Austin was all upset. NOW WE KNOW WHY!!!!!!! Did I mention that he kissed her on the LIPS!!! ON THE LIPS!!! Travis and I told him that he is to young to be kissing and he was like "but why! I like it!!!"

WE ARE IN TROUBLE!!! BOTH OUR KIDS ARE FREAKING CRAZY IN LOVE!!!

I told Brookes mom Kara what he said because it was just too funny. She then asked Brooke her side of the story and here it is......

(kara speaking)"ok got the goods from brooke they kissed 3 times....once here and twice there but she said only the one time behind the bush was on the lips. Oh she was embarrassed! I explained not to and she was like "but mom I like him he is so nice and sweet and cute and he's my boyfriend."

Isnt this the funniest story ever? Austin will LOVE reading this when he grows up haha!!!

Austin's Golden Birthday- 7 years old!!!

Ok, so today for Austin's official bday here's what happened. He wanted Nachos for dinner.... hey, he NEVER gets to eat them because he doesn't eat cheese! So he wanted to go to Taco Smell for some nachos... he was QUITE the happy little chap. He wanted an Optimus Prime bday cake, so I made him one of course and he also wanted his awesome neighbor friends, Brooke (girlfriend), Cole and Megan to come over and eat his Birthday cake with him, so they did. They had a GRAND old time let me tell you! Can you say sugar high?? I can. Let's see, oh ya, then he wanted to play games as a family. So we all played Disney Scene It, which Austin and I totally won! And we also played Haunted Mansion Clue! (Do you see the Disney pattern going on here? It's like never-ending in this house!!) HE is such a special kid. So kind, polite, handsome, friendly, positive, brave, adventurous, happy.... the list goes on and on. I love him to bits I tell you. Seriously, I LOVE HIM!!!! HAPPY BIRTHDAY AUSTIN!!!! Now stop growing up please and stay my little man forever!!!

Austins 7th Bday Party!!!

I cannot believe Austin turned 7 this week!! And I just realized that this was HIS golden birthday! He is growing up soooo fast :( Makes me sad! But he is so excited and his party was SO fun. We did a pirate themed swimming party at Grandma and Grandpa Campbell's house. There were SO many of his friends there and he had a blast! We had Bahama Bucks shaved ice instead of cake! He chose the flavors Birthday Cake, Banana, and Strawberry. YUMMY. And at the end of the party the kids got to throw water CANONS at a real pirate who was trying to steal their treasure....Here are some pictures to highlight the event........

He has been wanting a Nintendo DS for like a year now... so we finally got him one! And it was in his favorite color... RED.

That remote control boat is freaking AWESOME!!! Thanks Hannah, Abi and Ben!! He got so many wonderful things. He loves them all! He was SO happy everyone was there!

Below is the mean Pirate (played by Grandpa Campbell) being hit with Water Canons but the kids... haha. In the end they stopped the mean pirate and were able to take their treasures home with them!

Halloween Night 2010

Yes I know, I am still on yet another halloween post but we seriously go to EVERY halloween party/event possible! Ok so here is Halloween night, Austin was still Harry Potter and Zoe decided to be Cinderella or "Cindalulla" as she calls her, instead of Ariel. The picture above makes me CRACK UP everytime I look at it :)

This is Zoe FREAKING out because some neighbor of ours had a haunted house in his garage. She was scared.

Oh ya and this was Austins kindergarten class on the day of their Halloween party that I helped be in charge of.

Halloween Party 2009

This Halloween party was AWESOME!!! Seriously so much fun. We had a great turnout of friends and family, carnival style games, caramel apples, painting pumpkins, good food, halloween music blaring to set the mood, costume contest... we had it all in our backyard. By far our FAVE party we have thrown! I was Tinkerbell (found the dress at Goodwill!!! Then it got dirty right away from making the monster's brew, oh well), Travis was Alan from The Hangover, Austin was Harry Potter, and Zoe of course was Cinderella!! OH ya and I almost forgot!!! At our trunk or treat they had a car decorating contest and guess who won........... The JOhn Family!!!!!!!!!!! Here was our car........... It was so exciting! We never win anything!! The eyes lit up and everything....

Zoe's Preschool Halloween Carnival 2009

I will just start this post by saying that Zoe's preschool teacher is THE BEST TEACHER EVER!!! SHe is sooo animated, silly, loving, happy and smily, and just genuinly loves all the kids in the class. Well, here see for yourself.......

But the little carnival was so fun. They did cake walks, decorated cookies, all kinds of things. They made their own little frankenstein candy bags that were so dang cute :)

This is Zoe's little friend Miranda, or as Zoe likes to call her "Mewanda'. She is always saying how cute and "little" she is! And its true, so cute.

Austins FIRST Field Trip!!!!

Austins first field trip in Kindergarten was in October to Talmachoff Farms in Glendale, AZ!! They had a great time seeing farm animals, going through a corn maze and learning what foods and products contain corn, they got to learn about harvesting and actually got to harvest some fresh squash, zucchini, cucumber and radishes and take them home!! This first picture is on the bus ride over... Austin is sitting with his buddies Christian and Dante!!
