Just a Few Things

1) If any of you shop at Albertsons, you know that they are playing Monopoly right now. If you don't want your monopoly pieces, PLEASE GIVE THEM TO ME! I of course will split the winnings, if we win.

2) Where in the world do all of you eat out at? I am so sick of everything here. Kudos to the person who can direct me to the next hot spot in the valley.

Quick trip to the Beach! WARNING: PICTURE OVERLOAD

We decided we were in need of some fun, so we went on a "quick trip" to Cailfornia this last weekend! It was seriously so much fun, and it was exactly what our family needed. We drove up on Saturday and went to Huntington Beach for the day. The water was freezing, but did we care? NO! The wind was a blowin' but did we care? HECK NO! We had so much fun. Before they got too dirty the kids let me take some pictures of them....

After that, the digging, and the shell finding, and the water splashing, and the laughing, and the "Oh My Gosh look at those waves!", and the "Bury me in the sand!" began.

Here's the proof... (here's where that warning kicks in...)

Here is Austin and Zoe buried in the sand.

Zoe got a little chilly and sat in her chair. But when I looked over at her, she had fallen over but was too cold to do anything about it!

So we played at the beach for about 3 hours or so, then we got STARVING and were getting pretty cold, so at 5:00 we went and ate at Ruby's Diner that is at the end of the pier! We sat on the second level and from the window all you can see is ocean. *SIGH* Do you see Travis, Austin and Zoe in the picture?? They are waving at you.

This was like a pelican or something just sitting on the pier. It would let people get really close to it. I don't know, seemed worthy of a picture at the time. Austin seemed to enjoy it.

Then we were freezing and it was getting dark so we went back to hotel and swam the night away. These are HORRIBLE pictures but at this point I don't care too much.

The next day was Sunday and we really didn't have to be back till Monday, so we went to Disneyland that day till about 7:00 becuase we weren't dressed for the cold weather!!! I never realized how close the beach is to Disneyland. Anyway, sorry about all the dang pictures. We had a ton of fun though!!!!!!!!

So I went shopping for the first time the other night using what little coupons I had so far, and look at what I got.....
