The boy is mine

This is Travis. He is a loving father and husband as most of you know. The other day we were out in the front yard, he was mowing the grass, and I was trimming the trees. This little black boy who I had never seen before was walking down the sidewalk, and Travis stops and says"Hey Max! How's it goin?". The kid says "Good." and kept going. Then Travis went back to mowing like it was nothing. Meanwhile I am standing there watching this thinking, what just happened and who is that kid and how does Travis know him by name? I asked him these questions and he said that the kid one day followed him to the mailbox and now he still does it every once in awhile. They talk about the kids bike, and things that he is up to. I had no idea this was even going on! This just shows you what kind of a person Travis is. He makes people's day, and doesn't ever want any reward for it. Although I never said it, as I watched him talk to that kid on the street I thought it was the cutest thing ever.
