Christmas Day went well. The kids woke up, we ate breakfast like always, then got to the presents. First thing we always do is open our stockings. This is my personal favorite part. I love that some of the smallest things that can fit into a stocking can turn out to be the best gifts ever! The kids get an ornament every year in their stockings, and some other goodies from either us or Santa. Austin is in LOVE with peanuts, so we got him his very own bag.
Then we do Santa gifts. The kids were very pleased with Santa this year. He brought them exactly what they asked for!

And Austin got a ton of transformers, and legos. He was very excited. And the last picture- notice the people on the guitar?? That's right folks. Camp Rock Guitar Hero. Oh ya!
Then that night after we did dinner and presents at my Mom and Dad's, the whole John family came over and thus began the trip to Disneyland! I will post about that tomorrow.

So much fun! We always got an ornament each year as well. Andrew and have continued that on our own. But I need to sign up for that elf service...
