So I have a SLIGHT obsession with Bon Jovi, ok? So sue me. The guy is hot and the music could not be better. Seriously, I find so much joy in listening to them. Old stuff, new stuff, doesn't matter. I get Bon Jovi updates sent to my email from CMT.com and they have on there EVERY music video that they ever did available to watch. Naturally, I spent my morning jamming out to Bon Jovi videos, don't worry, the kids weren't being neglected. They were right there with me dancing away. Austin kept saying, "Mom! Play another Bon Jovi song cuz I wanna dance!" But seriously, there is so much to their music, they all tell a story, they have amazing guitar, and amazing melodies. And what is even more amazing to me is that they come up with this stuff all on their own. I know that sounds crazy to all of you, but I am completely fascinated
with this band. And Jon, I mean, he is the most amazing guy ever. Look at his face, his hair, his body, he tours the WORLD for the last 22 years, and the whole time, he has stayed faithful to his wife Dorthea, his high school sweetheart. He has like 4 kids. He is amazing. And what awesome pipes! He can seriously sing, and make you feel like he really means every word he says. What I love the most is that when Travis and I were just dating, he made me a mixed tape. On this tape were some goodies by White Lion, Tesla, Van Halen, and then there was this one by Bon Jovi that I had never heard because I don't think that it ever got released to the radio. Well, it became our song and I LOVE that our song is a Bon Jovi song. This band is the one for SURE thing that we have in common. Our song is "Thank You For Loving Me". It is on the playlist here at the bottom. But I just love that something that I feel so much adoration for, is linked to how I feel about Travis. It's awesome.
We have been to 2 of their concerts in the last year and a half, and let me just say that it is quite an experience. Amazing. After the first concert, I listened to NOTHING but Bon Jovi albums for the next 3 months. It's insane the effect they have me.

Ok, so if you actually made it to the end of this posting, I am sorry that you just wasted 5 minutes of your day reading about a description of my unexplainable feelings for this music that these guys make. I feel like I haven't gotten my point across. But I guess you get the jist.
Some Bon Jovi singles (besides the obvious ones that everyone knows) to for sure listen to if you want are "This Ain't A love Song", "Lay Your Hands On Me", their remake of "Love Hurts" and of course, "Thank you for loving me". Oh and his new one with Leann Rimes "Till we aint strangers anymore" is EXCELLENT.

I remember when all of us in HS loved when they'd play Bed of Roses. Sexae! Ok, and I've gotta agree, even though he isn't on my top 20, he's amazing. Like you said, faithful for so long, great singer, and not too shabby on the eyes.
Love Bon Jovi! Love that song!!
The song that I would listen to endlessly in HS is "Living in Sin". I LOVED it so much. Do you know that one, miss know it all?
Of course I do. It is on my playlist. LOVE IT!!
