Retraction

I am issuing a minor retraction to a previous posting on this blog. At one point I shared with all of you my complete disgust with anything Raspberry flavored. I have found that this is not an entirely true statement. Upon a recent visit to my favorite desserts' home, Olive Garden, I discovered that Raspberry sauce is quite yummy with the Lemon Cream cake. So for those of you that value my thoughts and opinions so much that you decided that you would stop eating raspberry flavors in honor of me, I apologize for any inconvenience this false information has caused any of you. But be assured that this is the ONLY Raspberry item that will ever enter my mouth without a gag reflex following immediatly after. That is all.

Santa Remodels Too

Here is a story that made me laugh yesterday.

Austin and I went to get some paint yesterday at Lowes around 2:oo. While we were waiting for our paint to be done, this man came up next to us to get some too. He was a fat older man, really nice, and he had a greyish whitish beard. He talked to me and Austin the whole time we waited about Christmas and how they put 40,000 lights on their house. Anyway, we said our goodbyes and that was that. Then, on our way home at like 8:00, we were listening to christmas music, and Austin mentioned to Zoe that Santa watches us to see if we are being nice. He then said " I think that old man at the paint store was Santa." I laughed. This has probably been on his mind all day, and he hasn't said anything until now. " Maybe Santa is going to paint his North Pole, and the elves are going to help him!" I just nodded in agreement. Why would Santa go to a Lowes in Gilbert to buy paint for his North Pole? I just thought that was really funny.

News Flash

I just wanted to share a bit of news with all of you. The other day, we found out that we are expecting a new addition to the family in a couple months! It is kind of a surprise, yes, but we are happy and nervous all the same! We are hoping for a girl, and it would be really cool if she had brown hair! It will be fun to have another baby in.....Wait... what?? You guys thought I was saying I was pregnant? No, no, no , the dog that was supposed to be getting it on so that Santa could give the kids a "baby brown dog" for Christmas, is pregnant. Not me. Wow, you guys are SOOO gullable.

Chicka-Chee!

Tonight we went Trick-Or-Treating with a bunch of our neighbors. It was fun! The kids had a blast, and Zoe was hilarious. This was really her first time ACTUALLY doing the T.O.T'ing and she thought it was the coolest thing EVER. You all know how she loves to eat? Well, when you can go to peoples door and say "CHICKA-CHEE!" and they give you free candy, that is awesome to her! BTW, that is how she said Trick Or Treat all night. It was hilarious!
Here are the kids with Tori, their neighbor friend.
This is just a picture of the Sugar High that we will be having for the next 8 months or so!

Jack-O-Lanterns

Austin has been looking forward to carving pumpkins for a week or so now. He already had his favorite patterns picked out. He and Zoe couldn't take the pumpkin-goop though! I had to do all the dirty work! But it was fun.

Here is Austin and Zoe BARELY touching the inside of the pumpkin, but they think they are actually doing something.

Austin took my camera and snapped this pic. I was surprised he even centered it!

The Proud Artist.

The finished Jack's.

Halloween Carnival

This morning was Austin's Halloween Carnival at school. They had tons of games, and TONS OF CANDY!! I think that Zoe liked it more than Christmas. She could not believe that people were just filling her bag FULL of candy for no reason. She was so happy about this. They got to wear their halloween costumes, Austin was a Transformer(or as he would correct you, "Optimus Prime") and Zoe was Alice in Wonderland.
Here is another Alice in Wonderland, saying hello to Zoe.

They had this Haunted House to go in. They weren't too sure about it at first.

This is Mrs. Michelle, Austin's teacher this semester.

The Fall Lineup

I am in love with this years new TV fall lineup! But the freaking people are thinking of cancelling some of the ones I love! I can't beleive it! Of course, I still watch Grey's, The Office, and all the shows that everyone in AMerica should be watching because they are the best. But in this post I will be telling you all about my new faves.

Dirty Sexy MoneyThis might be my favorite show right now. It is about a lawyer who has to take care of the richest family in New York and he is constantly doing the most random things for them. It is FULL of drama and is completely scandalous! It's awesome! Since I just tivo everything and watch them later, I am not sure what night it is on, but I think it is Wednesdays.

Big Shots

Ok, I love this one as much as Dirty Sexy Money. It is like Sex in the City, but with guys! It is funny, sexy, dramatic, and pretty much everything you would want out of your Thursday night lineup! And this is one of the shows that some people were saying they wanted cancelled! I would DIE if this got cancelled. I love it!

Carpoolers

This show, is hilarious! Again, one of the shows people want cancelled. Me? Want it on DVD!!! This guy in this pic here is the funniest one on the show. But Travis and I laugh our heads off during this whole show. Please just watch it once before it gets cancelled! Tuesday, 8:30/7:30 central. But it isnt on this week :(.

The Cavemen

Yes, this show will get cancelled, and I couldnt even find a decent picture of it for you. But you know what cavemen look like, so there you go. But I love this show too. It is pretty funny. But I know it is as good as gone!!

Private Practice

If you love Grey's, you will LOVE this show. I do. And I think that Kate Walsh is GORGEOUS. Did you hear that Kristal? So stop gagging!! Watch this show. Jason, you would love it because there is an alternative med guy on it.

Oh, and guess what starts TONIGHT???!!!!! NIP TUCK BABY!!!!!! Time for more Christian Troy!Oh yeah! I am very excited for this one to start again. So don't call me tonight around 10-11. I will be busy!

Day at the Park

This morning we went to the park with Kayci 's (Ayers) kids. It was fun! Austin and Zoe got to play with Kleven while I got to play with baby Ezra and talk to Kayci. I love that Kayci and I are still friends, she is really the only one I ever see from high school anymore! She's awesome! But it was a nice morning, and the kids had fun. Here are some pics.
Kleven and Zoe are pretty much the same age, but Kleven talks like he is my age. Zoe sounds like a caveman compared to him! Here they are trying to see themselves in my camera.

And trying to sun bathe.

Baby Ezra!

What?No Cake? What kind of party is this!!!

So I made a cake today for the party, but totally forgot to put it out, although I don't think it mattered. So, let us just pretend that by reading this cake posting, we are actually eating the cake, ok? There, it doesn't feel so left out anymore.

Monster Mash

Today was Zoe's Half Halloween, Half Birthday party. All the kids were dressed in costumes and it was a lot of fun. It was soooooo freaking hot today though!! The poor kids were sweating buckets. But we rented an inflatable slide, there was Pin the Face On the Mummy, Pumpkin Painting, and a Cookie Walk. Here are some pics. Oh, and Zoe is crying here in this picture because she is seriously TERRIFIED of Bryant's Muscle Man mask!

Oliver won the prize for the Funniest Costume! This was seriously the BEST (please picture me saying "The Best!" like Nacho Libre here) costume I have EVER SEEN!!! And Oliver was MORE than happy to summon his Eagle Powers for you. Hilarious!

Click on the picture of Zoe going down the slide, her face is soo cute!
Zoe opened some presents after the party was over and here are some of those pictures. Reina made this SO CUTE towel for her with her name on it! And Jana made this awesome I Spy beanbag. It is seriously soo cool! After this she ran off and I couldnt get anymore pictures of the other gifts, but she loves them. THank you !!! And we appreciate everyone who came! Thank you!!!!

Do you see it? Jana? Koe?

So the guy on the very right here in this picture, yes it is the Jonas Brothers but who cares, the guy on the right. Remind you of anyone? This was the only decent picture I could find. Refer to the Disney Channel for a better idea. But here are some clues.
1. Tall, dark hair, fair skin.
2. Hot. Almost too hot to be human.
3. In love with a very undeserving, and apparently plain stupid girl that should be ME instead!!!!

I know you know who I am talking about. Right now, they are looking for someone to play this "character" in the first movie, and this guy needs to play him!! Come on Jana and Koe, I am counting on you for this one!!

Wherever U Go, There U Are

I surprised Travis with this truck on Friday. I traded in my Montero at a tent sale out on I-17 and Bell and got the truck he has always wanted. Plus they gave me a free apple Ipod Nano. Austin calls it The Beast Monster Truck. Travis was pretty suprised!

Buzz trumps Family

Listen to this story.

Yesterday, we were all out in the back yard doing yard work. After about 5 minutes, I realize Zoe is gone. "She went inside the house", I thought. I go to check on her. The back door is locked. "That little brat", I huffed with a smile. "Zoe!!!" (as I bang on the door) "Open the door for Momma!"
5 minutes goes by. No unlocked door. No Zoe. "Travis, Zoe locked the door", I say. Travis laughs hysterically. "Do you have the keys?", I ask. "No." He says.
Travis, Austin and I are at the back door wailing for Zoe to come to the door. Nothing!
We go to the windows that open into our bedroom, and, what do you know. Zoe is sitting smack dab in the middle of our bed with markers, coloring. On paper, don't worry. So now, us 3 are at the back window trying to bribe Zoe out of there to open the door.
"Zoe, open the back door!" to which she says politely "No. Draw Buzz." (She was coloring a Buzz Lightyear picture.)
Holding up some outside chalk to the window Travis tries "Zoe, come color out here with chalk!" to which Zoe says, "Mmm, No. Draw Buzz." Puts her head back down and is very concentrated.
"Zoe, you wanna swim?" ...."No."
Then I try, "Zoe, you want some candy??" She looks up very interested, "Hmmm????" I repeat, "Do you want some candy?" She says "Aye!" I say, "Ok, come and open the door and I will give you some." At this she changed her mind. "No. Draw Buzz."
Then we ask her if she wants to see a doggy, this worked. She came and opened the door. Then we had to find a doggy for her to see!!!
She wasn't trying to be mischevious, she just had an art session that was obviously more important than letting her family inside the house for about 20 minutes. She is so funny!!!

Baby Hungry

I think it is safe to say that Austin is more baby hungry than I am. Everyday he says he wants a "baby brown dog" and yesterday, he said this...

Austin: "Mom, I wanna have another baby boy."
Me: "Hmm, well where do we get one from?"
Austin: " We just go get one, at the Baby Store. We can go pick one out."

I wish. If it were that easy I would have already "picked out" my 3-4 (maybe) kids and be done already!!!
