My Other Man

So I have a SLIGHT obsession with Bon Jovi, ok? So sue me. The guy is hot and the music could not be better. Seriously, I find so much joy in listening to them. Old stuff, new stuff, doesn't matter. I get Bon Jovi updates sent to my email from CMT.com and they have on there EVERY music video that they ever did available to watch. Naturally, I spent my morning jamming out to Bon Jovi videos, don't worry, the kids weren't being neglected. They were right there with me dancing away. Austin kept saying, "Mom! Play another Bon Jovi song cuz I wanna dance!" But seriously, there is so much to their music, they all tell a story, they have amazing guitar, and amazing melodies. And what is even more amazing to me is that they come up with this stuff all on their own. I know that sounds crazy to all of you, but I am completely fascinated with this band. And Jon, I mean, he is the most amazing guy ever. Look at his face, his hair, his body, he tours the WORLD for the last 22 years, and the whole time, he has stayed faithful to his wife Dorthea, his high school sweetheart. He has like 4 kids. He is amazing. And what awesome pipes! He can seriously sing, and make you feel like he really means every word he says.
What I love the most is that when Travis and I were just dating, he made me a mixed tape. On this tape were some goodies by White Lion, Tesla, Van Halen, and then there was this one by Bon Jovi that I had never heard because I don't think that it ever got released to the radio. Well, it became our song and I LOVE that our song is a Bon Jovi song. This band is the one for SURE thing that we have in common. Our song is "Thank You For Loving Me". It is on the playlist here at the bottom. But I just love that something that I feel so much adoration for, is linked to how I feel about Travis. It's awesome.

We have been to 2 of their concerts in the last year and a half, and let me just say that it is quite an experience. Amazing. After the first concert, I listened to NOTHING but Bon Jovi albums for the next 3 months. It's insane the effect they have me.

Ok, so if you actually made it to the end of this posting, I am sorry that you just wasted 5 minutes of your day reading about a description of my unexplainable feelings for this music that these guys make. I feel like I haven't gotten my point across. But I guess you get the jist.

Some Bon Jovi singles (besides the obvious ones that everyone knows) to for sure listen to if you want are "This Ain't A love Song", "Lay Your Hands On Me", their remake of "Love Hurts" and of course, "Thank you for loving me". Oh and his new one with Leann Rimes "Till we aint strangers anymore" is EXCELLENT.

Excuse me, but you have a Booger on Your Plate.

No, don't worry, Hooked On Phonics has not failed you. You read that right. Here is the story short and sweet.

Tonight at dinner, Travis sat by Zoe. Zoe had a booger hanging out of her nose. Travis reached over and picked it for her. Travis would have put it ON THE END OF HIS PLATE if not for my wails of alarment at seeing his boogered finger almost touch the same thing that his food was on. I said "DONT PUT THAT ON YOUR PLATE YOU SICKO!!!!!!!!!!" He says, "What? It was just on the edge of my plate no where near my food." At this it was all I could do to keep my jaw from hitting the floor.
What normal human being would not only THINK of putting a slimy baby booger on his plate instead of, I don't know, a napkin, but also be OK with still eating the food that is in close proximity to said booger?
Appauling yes??

I Feel Pretty!

So this morning, Zoe got a makeover. Eyeshadow, Mascara, Lip Stick, Blush, Hairspray, the works. She LOVED it. She is quite the girly- girl! She wanted her toes painted, but we just didn't have enough time. I love that she is girly!!

Ok, I love it

I just have to post this picture again, in a bigger format because I think it is so awesome.

4 of 4- Yes, Even More Pictures

(K, there are 4 posts of this trip to look at. The first one is at the bottom. Just so you know....)
I LOVE this picture of Zoe. She and I were waiting for Austin and Travis to get off a ride, and we were hanging out on Main Street. She was in the middle of the road just twirling around in her dress and loving that everyone walking by was going "Ohhh! How cute!!" She was seriously showing off how cute she was. She was actually posing and saying "Cheese!" We even had some random lady in line at the Haunted Mansion ask if she could take a picute of Zoe becuase of how cute she was. Of course we demanded a few thousand out of her first, made her sign all the necessary documents, you know, the usual.
Ok, that is all the pictures I am going to post of this trip. If you want to see the rest you are gonna have to come over and look at the book I will make whenver I have time! Keep scrolling down for 3 more posts of this awesome trip!

3 of 4 - Even More Pictures

I know, I know, I take tons of pics. I just hope someday the kids will enjoy looking at them when I print this month out. Enjoy.

Ok, see this awesome hat? Yeah, lost it on the Matterhorn. Rather not talk about it. Touchy subject. And see the lanyard on his neck? That is our family's new hobby... Pin Trading. It is so fun!

2 of 4- More pictures

Ok, so Disneyland may not seem that exciting to all of you, but it still is for us. We love it. By the way, the first post about this is after this post. There is a slide show. Don't miss it. Seriously, it took me like 30 minutes to make it for some reason. So please, watch it! Anyway, here are the pics...
I was so proud of this picture, even though it is my camera that deserves all the credit.

The kids dressed up in some Disney Costumes the second day we were there. Austin wore his pirate costume and Zoe was Alice in Wonderland.

Even on vacation, Travis can't resist a good game of poker.

Seriously, click on this picture and blow it up... is she scary or what? I LOVE THIS PICTURE!!!

1 of 4-Haunted Mansion Holiday

Ok, here are some pictures of where we went. I think that Koe and Kristal deserve some snaps for guessing right! Now, this slide show is mainly just to show you how Disneyland decorates for Halloween. The next few posts will be of us and the kids. I know, you can't wait.

We're off to see...... what?

Where are we going? Can you guess?
When all is said and done, our car will be a mess.
At 3 in the morning today we will start,
Where, do you say? Make a guess, that's a start!
Tuesday we will be back without delay...
You have 'till then to have a say.
For the one who can guess where it is we are,
Will probably be the best guesser by far.
Now, Jana and Mom, you musn't cheat,
You already know where we are going is neat!
So keep a secret so the others can play.
I want to see if they can guess today!
And when we return, here you will see,
The answer to where it is we will be!

'Till Tuesday!

Ok, Now What?

I know that ever since I left you, my dear and faithful readers, hanging on the edge of your seats about my ever so important ebay issue, you have probably been experiencing occasional night sweats from the anxiety of needing to know what happened next right? You, I'm sure, have been refreshing this blog page every 5 minutes, hoping that I finished the story? It's ok, you can admit it, we are all friends here. Well, today is your lucky day. The second half of this ebay saga.

So I wrote to the Trust and Safety Department and told them all what a !#$@* she was. Well, this did not get me anywhere unfortunatly. So I replyed to her little response in my feedback section, and on hers. So I feel a little better because I got the last word in you know? But it still kills me to go to My Ebay and see that stupid red negative amongst all my perfect little green positives. Well, here is where I need all your expertise.

She emailed me yesterday requesting for me to agree to mutually withdraw the feedback we both left. The feedback will still be there for people to read, but it won't count against our scores.
I am thinking I don't want to do this because I want her to suffer. You know? Why now does she care about having negatives? I already got my words in, so should I agree to this, or not?

See? I Told You.

Ok, yesterday we were searching for a car and we were letting the kids walk instead of sit in a stroller because they had been sitting all day in the car. WELL, we were crossing the street and Zoe was lagging behind. No, this was not a busy street, but it was a street where cars can drive, nonetheless. So, she was way behind us. Me and Austin are already on the other side of the street waiting, and Travis says "Hurry Zoe!" Zoe was in the middle of the road when he said this to her. Can you guess what she did? She looked right at Travis with NO expression on her face, stopped walking altogether, then sat down in the middle of the road. I told you she was a big brat Kristal. And I use the word Brat with LOVE of course for all those who don't understand my humor! So he had to go back and pick her up. She is so mean!

But revenge is SWEET!!!.....

Sassy Cassie's Shower

Saturday Cassie had her Baby shower. Here are some pics from that lovely event.

Here is the diaper cake I made her.

In the words of Cassie, "This is SO CUTE".

Cassie, I don't think this will fit you.

Her Mom In-Law made her this crib bedding!

Our Haunted House

Ok people, it is officially the awesomest time of the year- the last 3 months. Every month has something exciting to look forward to! Halloween is practically knocking down our door here, so we finally found time last night to decorate with what little Halloween decor we have. Austin had fun though! Zoe was zonked out, so she didn't get to join in the festivites, actually she still hasn't even noticed that all this stuff is out!
Here is a pumpkin he made...

Our Spooky town on the mantle...

I would show you the outside of our house, but it doesn't look that good! So anyway, Happy Haunting!

By the way, there is a post about our Build A Bear trip that just got added for September because I started it one day, and just finished it now. So scroll down if you want to see that!
