Old Pictures

December 2007 my friend Kristal took some pictures for me and the kids up in Jo City, which I then made into a scrapbook for Travis for christmas. I never blogged with these pictures, but I wanted to show you a couple. I LOVE my kids. Sometimes they just say something, and it will make my day. Like today, at the freaking chiropractors office I broke down crying, and as I was trying to keep it a secret from the doctor Austin is asking "Mom, what's wrong with your eyes?? Why are you washing them??" It instantly put a smile on my face. He is the sweetest little boy there ever was and I love him! I hear this at least 10 times a day... "Mommy, I love you." And then I feel guilty because I didn't say it first. I loved his toes as a baby, and I still do. He will laugh at anything, even if it sooo isn't funny! He is just the happiest kid there ever was. I LOVE to hear him laugh... it is sure to put another smile on my face. I also love that he will always let me know when the Jonas Brothers are on the Disney Channel so that I can come and watch them! He is so thoughtful. I'm telling you, SON OF THE YEAR award goes to him. Every year.

Then there is Zoe Boe. My prissy little girl with the biggest attitude you've ever seen. You want drama, you go find Zoe. But I can't ever get enough of her sweet little voice. I love the way she says "It's sooo spicy!". In case you have never heard Zoe talk, just imagine the little girl "Boo" from Monsters Inc. the movie. She sounds just like her. And I love the way she will just sing christmas carols, and High School Musical songs at the top of her lungs (completely tone deaf) when she thinks no one is listening. I also LOVE that she will put her hands on her hips and tap her foot when she is trying to be the boss. I love her chubby cheeks, and her smootchy lips. And OMG how I love her toes still! I love that she always wants nail polish on. I loved when she used to call herself "Yoey", and I am so sad that she can say "Zoe" now! I love that she sees anyone's baby and will just comment on how cute they are, and she will act all Mommy-ish. It makes me want to have a baby just so she can have a real little baby around. I am just in love with this little girl, it's not even funny. Every word that comes out of her mouth makes me melt. Unless it's the "fit throwing Zoe". No melting there.

This is probably my favorite picture of me and her.

Kristal said...: Awww, I love this pics too. I miss shaggy Austin, and you know we agree 100% that he's the sweetest little boy in the world. Hopefully BOssy will keep his sweetness, but I can already tell he's not as sweet as Austin. Hopefully well get one of those super sweet ones sometime. Zoe"s To-Do List

6-10-09- Since Mom said "no" to eating all the yummy snacks in the pantry, I think I will just go in there when she is not looking, and open them all up, take one bite of each, and leave a big huge mess. Then I will blame it all on Austin.

7-30-08- Mom has company over. There is a pencil right next to the computer. I think I will draw mommy a picture on the computer screen so that when she turns it on it will show!!

5-20-08- I just found a full bottle of baby powder. How fun would it be to chase Beau and Austin around the house with it, shaking all of it all over EVERYTHING? There is only one way to find out...

3-2?-08- "Hmm, that car over there looks just like the car from Back To The Future. It must be a very expensive and RARE car. I'm going to go put sharp rocks all over it."

2-13-08- While at my friend Addison's house, I will wait patiently for mom and Shannon to get into a deep discussion, then I will sneak into the kitchen. There I will turn the water spickett upside down, so that when Shannon goes to use it when I am gone, it will spray all over the place!!!!

1-3-08- Because I want milk and I think that I am so grown up, I will pour my own cup of milk with this full gallon on Moms rug. Don't worry about the more than 3/4 of what I poured ending up all over the floor, Mom can just clean that up. And she will have to go the store to get more milk.

11-26-07- Take the butter tub out of the fridge, get a butter knife out of the drawer, take said items under the end table where no one can see me that well, and eat butter straight out of the tub using the butter knife.

10-25-07- I think that it would be fun to WASH the floor with my milk today. Yes, let me just pencil that one in.

10-14-07- I saw Mom put some Goobers, you know the chocolate covered peanuts (duh), in on the desk last night. While Dad is watching me this morning, I will take the Goobers, and then hide in the closet with the door shut and eat them 'till he finds me!

9/28/07- I think, just for kicks of course, that today I will SNACK on Momma's face wash. Then I will just sit back and laugh at her reaction.

Austins Dreams as told by the Great Austin Himself

March 8, 2008- " Mom, I don't like bedtime, because sometimes I have bad dreams. Like of princesses. I don't like dreaming about princesses because that is too girly."

Austin decided that he would be brave and go on Space Mountain at Disneyland, even though he did NOT like it last time. Well, you know how when you are on the ride, right before you go into the dark abyss that is the essence of the ride, they take you through a red spiraling tunnel? Well, Travis said that Austin said...
"Dad, this is like a bad dream!!!"
Apparently he kept saying throughout the ride too.
