My American Idol

Do you all know what time it is? American Idol time. That's what. Travis and I watch this show FAITHFULLY. Who is my favorite contestant this season? Well thank you so much for asking. It is...(drumroll)... JASON CASTRO!! Do any of you watch this show? I mean if you do then you will know what I mean when I say that when I saw him perform on Tuesday, I watched it OVER AND OVER AND OVER AGAIN. Wednesday too. And today. I am in love with his voice, his eyes, his guitar. He arranged the song so well. Come on, didn't you see it? I tried so hard to download the dang performance on Itunes but for some dumb reason it never worked. But I have it on my DVR, and there it will stay till the end of time. I am votin for JASON CASTRO!!!

Love The Chillin's

This is my favorite shirt that Zoe owns right now. I love it because it is so bright and girly! So she wears it a lot, I will be so sad when she grows out of it. It has a matching Navy blue cardigan that goes with it. LOVE IT!

And this is Austin. He loves to get his picture taken. He will just sit there until you say he can leave, no questions asked. No whining. Nothing. In fact he will often say, "Hey Mom, take a picture of me doing this..."

The Gilbert Mall

So the Gilbert Mall is the place to be I have decided. It is great for the kids and a fun environment for adults. We go there a lot it seems. We were there with Addison and here are some pics. GO THERE!Addison is in character right here in this pic. The boys play Transformers the whole time they are together. It is QUITE amusing let me tell you!

When you put Zoe in a store, she is in her element. She is definetly all girl. She LOVES to shop. She walks around the store just picking up everything she wants, and will carry it until the end when I have to tell her she can't have the 5 things she picked out.

My Hero

Today when I got home, I got a little overwhelmed and frustrated and Travis knew it. So he showed up after work with this- flowers, Good & Plenty's ( one of my guilty pleasures) and a People magazine so that I can catch up on my celebrity gossip. Do the tulips remind you of anything? He got them because I LOVED the tulips at Disneyland so much and they look JUST like them!!! He is always trying so hard to keep my happy, and it works!!

Strange Child

It is 11:30 at night, and this is Zoe's bed. See a problem? She is not in it. Why you ask?

Because she sleeps on the floor. Right here in front of the door, every night after we tuck her in to her comfy bed.

Not the San Diego Zoo

I totally forgot to blog about this, but last week we went to the Phoenix Zoo with a play group and Austin and Zoe's new best friend Addison. It was cool, not as good as the San Diego Zoo, but fun for the kids anyway. Here are some pics for you to gander at.

We're Back!

Last Thursday at 4 in the morning, we woke up and drove to California for another Disneyland trip. It was soooo much fun for so many reasons. But I didn't take as many picutures this time because I have already taken so many, so that was nice for me. I just took pics of the kids with characters, Austin fighting his new arch nemesis Darth Vader at the Jedi Training Academy, and oh, they had the most beautiful pink tulips everywhere, I can't believe how pretty they were!! Also, my Dad put us up at the Disneyland Hotel for a night so that was so much fun!! I love staying there!! So here are some pics. Enjoy!!

You all know that Zoe just LOVES the Disney Princesses, so when we go to see them, I can't figure out why she won't look at them or talk to them. She freezes up. Weird.

Here are the lovely tulips I told you about. I couldn't stop looking at them.

Captain Hook saw me trying to get a picture of the kids and he ran over to get in on it. Wasn't that nice?? Here is Austin "fighting the Dark Side", as he would say. His friend Addison let him borrow his Jedi robe, which was good because they pick kids at RANDOM from the audience to be part of the show. Well, because of the Jedi shirt, Austin was the FIRST ONE PICKED!!!! Yay! At the bottom is Austin and his Jedi Certificate. When we got home he asked "Am I still a Jedi??"

This would be Austin playing Musical Chairs with the characters from Alice and Wonderland. And he won by the way!!
